Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) Training is designed to increase the learner’s knowledge of homeless people, understand their narratives and respond appropriately.

• Tuesday 17th September 1pm – 4pm

Introduction to Psychologically Informed Environments in Homelessness. How the approach enables organisations to understand and support people who have had
challenging experiences in life.

• Tuesday 24th September 1pm – 4pm
Becoming Trauma Informed – Early life experiences and their impact on adult
relationships and mental health.
“Knowledgeable presenter, using different formats keeping everyone engaged. ”
“The variety of information provided, explained wonderfully”.(previous trainee)

Tuesday 1st October 1pm – 4pm
Substance Use and Managing Dysregulation. A guide to all aspects of substance
use and dealing with intense emotion in ourselves and others, “An in-depth session
which is useful when working with people who present with complex needs. Often
training is surface level/basic awareness, however this was relevant to my practice
area” (previous trainee)

Tuesday 8th October 1pm – 4pm
Trauma Informed Approaches to Change – Practical ideas about how to approach
the subject of change, using supportive conversations.

“The group participation, the trainers work so well together! Super friendly and they
make it feel easy to get involved in the chat” (previous trainees)

4th, 11th, 18th and 25th March 2025 Microsoft Teams

The training is a 4 Session Course. We recommend you attend all 4 sessions,, as they link to each other and reference will be made to past and future sessions throughout. It will take place on Tuesdays  4th, 11th 18th and 25th March. 1-4pm on MS Teams. Please register your interest and we will send out the teams link by email, nearer the time.
