Training
Are you working with children, adults or families in Manchester?
We offer free, multi-agency safeguarding training online and in person.
Our training programme is informed by local learning, including Safeguarding Practice Reviews and emerging themes across Manchester. This ensures that content remains relevant, practical and focused on improving outcomes.
“The course was very informative and the trainers were excellent; their use of examples was fantastic and help provide real life scenarios of what was being discussed” (Awareness of Domestic Violence & Abuse Training)

E-Learning
You can access a wide range of safeguarding courses on through our e-learning platform Virtual College. Topics cover a broad range of themes including exploitation, mental health, FGM etc. Register below for the full list of courses
Safeguarding Learning Forum
We run a Children’s and Adult’s Safeguarding Learning Forum every quarter. These two-hour events feature guest speakers on the latest Safeguarding themes.
We also present our Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews (CSPRs), and Safeguarding Adult Reviews (SARs) at these events.
Learning From Practice
When a child or Adult (with care and support needs) dies or is seriously harmed as a result of abuse or neglect, a review may be carried out. To learn more about reviews you can read published reports and access learning resources here:

“I enjoyed the multi-disciplinary teams being placed into mixed tables which assisted with further understanding as to how to work together better.’”
